CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Research – A Core Activity

To be held at the
Christchurch Centre, Old Malpas Road, Newport.
You are invited to submit abstracts that demonstrate research as a core activity through the following themes:-
Innovative research that has led to a change inclinical practice
Patient experiences of research
Research that has led to service improvement/developments
Innovative grant applications
Closing Date for submission is the 28th April 2017

Information about your application
The judges are looking for evidence in your Abstract that your work:
- Will / has made a positive difference to patient care
- Has been evaluated with rigour
- Is presented with clarity
When you submit your abstract you will receive an email confirming your application has been received with 48 hours.
All applications will be reviewed by the R&D Conference Committee.
The Committee will select the best applications for either oral or poster presentation at the 2017Conference.
All applicants will be informed of the Committee’s decision by email.
The selected abstracts (both oral and poster) will be included in the Conference delegate pack
All posters and presentations will be reviewed on the day of the Conference by external judges. First and second place prizes will be awarded for both oral and poster presentations.
Further information regarding the Conference programme will be available in late April 2017.

Abstracts need to demonstrate outcomes which reflect high quality research and/or service delivery and should include the following headings:

- Result/Outcome
- Conclusion
