Just want to have fun and be part of a runway model challenge? Well, this is your opportunity to model gowns from top designers from around the world and to bring your own personality to the runway. We believe that the runway builds confidence and strengthens self-esteem. Come and showcase your runway skills at the The Darlafoxx Project Runway Challenge and have a good time, make new friends and rock the runway. This event is also bringing much needed awareness to The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio and their ANTI-BULLYING campaigns through youth programming that they offer to schools and organizations from their trained staff.
This event is taking place in the beautiful Market Square which is the newest gem of Crocker Park. Crocker Park features over 100 retailers and restaurants. Crocker Park is one of the most exciting developments of its kind in the country. A brilliant mix of known retailer stores, spacious office buildings, great restaurants, luxury apartments, relaxing green spaces, and even whole neighborhoods of single family homes combine into a lifestyle experience that makes Crocker Park a great place to do just about anything. Crocker Park is located at 228 Market Street, Westlake, Ohio 44145.
This challenge is for ages 5-19and contestants must be the required age for their age division for the year. If they will be turning an age older than the division during that year, they must compete in the next age division.Contestants will have access to rehearsals with runway training from an expert choreographer/ runway coaches and guest speakers at no cost before the challenge on scheduled Sundays and depending on what age group will determine rehearsal time-see below for rehearsal times and location. REHEARSALS ARE NOT MANDATORY!!
The first round challenge is the “Wild Card” challenge which is strictly styled by the contestant keeping in mind to be respectful with selection of garments and music. This round will be the scene to impress the judges to move you onto the next round. At the end of this scene, the panel of judges will have time to deliberate and finalize their scores. We will then announce who has qualified to move onto the next challenge.
Second round challenge “When I Grow Up” The challengers will dress up according to what they want to be when they grow up. They will also need to be prepared to answer a question from the judges regarding their selected job field. This round will also be a scene to impress the judges to move you onto the next and final round taking place the next day. At the end of this scene, the panel of judges will have time to deliberate and finalize their scores. We will then announce who has qualified to move onto the next and final challenge which will take place on the next day.
Third round challenge is “Formal Wear”This is the scene to WOW the panel of judges. This is the scene that will determine the winner of each age category. The formal wear gowns may be “borrowed” from Darlafoxx on a “borrow only” and must not be altered in any way. Pictures of the gowns that are chosen for the competition from Darlafoxx will be taken at the time of the model fitting. The gown will not be fitted again until the day of the challenge at the challenge. These gowns will be your source of inspiration as well for hair and make-up. If you choose to “borrow” a gown from Darlafoxx for the Formal Wear scene you will be fitted by appointment only in order of registration. All male models will be fitted by American Commodore Tuxedo in Solon for a tuxedo for the “Formal Wear” scene. The panel of judges will have time to deliberate one last time and then we will announce the age group winners for each category.
Just announced, the winner of the age category 17-19 will win a published photo shoot including HMUA with Haute Ohio Magazine “Ohio’s ONLY High Fashion Publication”. FB & IG OGFW_Official (valued at a little over $900)
All contestants are to provide their own music for each scene which will be due the beginning of February. Hair and make-up (HMUA) will also be supplied to all challengers. You will also be representing your HMUA. If you win your age category, your HMUA will also win. Your HMUA will be assigned to you the beginning of January at which you will set up a consult with your HMUA.
The number of eliminations per age category per round will depend on the total number of challengers. Cash Awards and Prizes will vary per age group and will be awarded the final day of the event.

This is a challenge for the contestant’s MUA (makeup artist) and/or hair stylist. If you win, your MUA and/or hair stylist will win a prize as well; so represent your stylists.
The registration fee for this challenge is $30 and the deadline for registration is November 30thor until we have reached maximum capacity for each group. Contestants will receive a custom Darlafoxx t-shirt with other goodies the day of the challenge. There will be a judge panel of five judges:

Entry Rules
Contestants can register in person at Darlafoxx, 662 Broadway Avenue, Bedford, Ohio 44146 with a complete registration form and payment of $30 or call to make arrangements or via the website registration. The deadline is final. No entries will be accepted after the closing date of 11.30.17 unless by exception. Payment must be made in full at the time you register. This can be done by cash, credit card or check payable to Darlafoxx.
All challengers and legal guardians will be asked to sign a Model Release Form. Please see Event Schedule for your respectful time-slots.
Event will be judged by five judges and will be based on a scoring system of 100 points. Creativity-20 pts, Appearance-20 pts, Crowd Participation-20 pts, Execution-20 pts, Consistent Modeling=20 pts.

RELEASE.By participating in the #CLE Prom Expo, entrants hereby release and hold all Sponsors and Vendors and its affiliates, employees, and agents harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with or resulting from participation in the #CLE Prom Expo and/or acceptance, possession, or use of any prizes including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, property damages and any claims by third parties or otherwise based on intellectual property rights, publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Entrants acknowledge that all Sponsors and Vendors, its employees, affiliates, and agents are not responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prizes, except as set forth in these Rules. Winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements of these Rules and Sponsor's decisions as to the administration of the Giveaways and prize awards are final.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.All Sponsors and/or Vendors assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. All Sponsors and/or Vendorsare not responsible for problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers computer equipment, software, failure of any email to be received by all Sponsors and/or Vendors on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the #LE Prom Expo. Under no circumstances will Sponsor award more prizes than the prizes set forth above. In the event that any erroneous duplicative awarding of prizes occurs, the error shall be corrected and the prize awarded to the proper winner based on the criteria set forth above. If for any reason the #CLE Prom Expo is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, legal challenges, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the #CLE Prom Expo, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the #CLE Prom Expo and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the #CLE Prom Expo . Any disputes relating tothe #CLE Prom Expo or any prizes awardedshall be resolved individually without any resort to any form of class action, and any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the #CLE Prom Expo. Under no circumstances shall any entrant be permitted to obtain awards for other damages or have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY PROHIBIT OR LIMIT EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE FOREGOING LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
