Bedtime Story – Thursday, 19th October 2017

On Thursday this week it is Bedtime Story for the children to visit Weston All Saints Primary School dressed in their pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers, accompanied by their favourite teddy and a named cup for their bedtime cocoa, ready to spend an hour in the company of their friends and listen to bedtime stories read by teachers in our lovely Log Cabin.

The Log Cabin doors will open at 5.45pm, when the children will need to snuggle up ready for storytelling to begin. While your children are being entertained you are encouraged to spend some time browsing in our Book Week Bookshop in the WASPS Main Hall, which will be open for the duration of the evening, as well as stay for a cup of coffee. It is a great opportunity to buy some super children’s books and support the school as we are able to reclaim a whopping 60% commission to spend on books for our classes’ libraries.

Tickets can be purchased from your child’s class teacher for 50p and should be presented to their storyteller as they arrive. You will need to collect your child from the Log Cabin at 6.30pm.

Costume Day – Friday, 20th October 2017

On Friday, 20th October we would love to invite children, if they so wish, to come with an artefact, face paint or piece of clothing that relates to a character in a book that they can talk about. Please don’t feel you need to provide a full costume unless you want to!

Parent Teacher Consultation Week – 30th October to 3rd November 2017

Please make sure that you have returned your slip to your child’s class teacher with your preferred day and time for your Parent/Teacher Consultation.

Coffee Morning – Friday, 3rd November 2017
