PERMITTED DEVELOPMENT ENQUIRY DECLARATION – PART 9 Class A
Part 9 Class A of the Town and Country (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 – Development relating to Roads, permits:
The carrying out by a Highway Authority—

(b)on land outside but adjoining the boundary of an existing highway of works required for or incidental to the maintenance or improvement of the highway.
I am of the opinion that the development would be permitted development in accordance with Part 9 Class A of the Town and Country (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 and would therefore not require an application for planning permission.
In relation to the above I confirm that:
- the proposed works are on land within the boundaries of a road and are required for the maintenance or improvement of the road, where such works involve development by virtue of section 55(2)(b) of the Act; or
