Desired Outcomes:
·  Review the epidemiology and pathophysiology of prostate cancer
·  Follow the current recommendations for prostate cancer screening
·  Perform accurate differential diagnosis and staging
·  Analyze populations at higher risk for prostate cancer (cultural, familial, genetic, dietary, lifestyle, etc.) and address these with patients
·  Choose appropriate treatment and management options at various stages of the disease, and refer to a specialist timely

This activity will encompass the following desirable physician attributes: Patient Care & Procedural Skills, Medical Knowledge, Professionalism, and Practice-Based Learning & Improvement. / Topic: The Latest Surgical Solutions for Epilepsy
Faculty: Sumeet Vadera, MD – Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery, UCI School of Medicine, Orange, CA
Desired Outcomes:
·  Identify the appropriate testing and imaging for patients presenting with seizures
·  Recognize the process for presurgical evaluation of patients with medically refractory epilepsy
·  Define the standard and novel epilepsy surgery procedure and the decision process that goes into selecting the appropriate surgical procedure to yield the best surgical results
·  Cite cultural issues that impact the epileptic patient, and identify how they impact care
