1.1.4 Trainee Code of Conduct

Trainees should observe the code of conduct at all times. Non-compliance will lead to disciplinary action(s).
A. Attendance and Punctuality
è Trainee’s presence in every class is mandatory. It is expected that each trainee should maintain at least 85% of the class attendance every month. Failure to meet the said percentage is subject for cross-examination and for resubmission of the assignment
è Punctuality is the characteristic of being able to complete a required task or fulfil obligation on or before the designated time. The trainee must always be on time and accurate in submitting the assignment activities
B. Dress Code
è All clothing must be in appropriate smart casual attire for both males and females. It should be neat, well fitted and pressed
è When required trainee will be required to wear formal/corporate attire as advised
C. Grooming
è Make-up should be applied in moderation
è Toiletries with strong odours, such as perfume, aftershave and hair spray should not be sharp or strongly detectable
è Beards and moustaches are to be neatly trimmed.
è Jewellery worn must be small in size and that does not create a safety hazard or interfere with one’s work. Funky accessories are not encouraged
D. ID Badge
è Campus ID badge must be worn and visible at all times
E. Smoking
è It is strictly prohibited to take cigarette inside the campus. Student/s who will be caught smoking will be subjected for a disciplinary action
F. Use of Mobile Phones
è Mobile phones must be switched off or on silent mode
è Emergency calls can only be made with consent of the trainer
