Overview / A contract is in place for Upgrade, Programme, Repair, Maintain or Hire of DECT-COM II units.
There is a cost per unit for all software upgrades, programming and repairs. This can be done on an ad-hoc basis or as part of an ongoing maintenance programme.
There is also the facility to hire DECT-COM II units for a minimum of 4 weeks, for a standard DECT kit is available or a tandem lift kit .

How will the services be delivered? / There is a standard call out charge should you require the supplier to come to site. This would be a standard part of any ongoing maintenance agreement.
For any ad-hoc requirements there is also the option of hand delivering/collecting the units from a Supplier site (location to be agreed with the supplier) or recorded and insured postal delivery (please see below for details on how this should be managed).
Postage / Should you wish to post your units for service please ensure that it is done via Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm rates with £2,500 compensation.

The outgoing rate is at your own cost centre’s expense. The return postage should be calculated and included when raising the requisition.
How do I Buy? / Please complete an order form, which can be found hereand separately on Safety Central, and email the Supplier with your requirement. The Supplier shall confirmthe orderwithin 2 working days.
Once this is confirmed a non catalogue iProcurement requisition can be raised referencing the order and the relevant contract. If you require assistance in raising a requisition please contact your route C&P team.

From this you will be able to ascertain who the requisition is with. It is at your discretion as to whether you contact them to establish any possible reason for delay.
