Dear Parents,

We have scheduled Monday, October 23rd from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm, for our family photo day fundraiser! Mountain West Studios will be providing the family photos for our school.

The appointment times must be scheduled through their online system, on a first come, first serve basis. To sign up using the online appointment system, please visit and click “Book a Photo Session” located at the top of the screen. Then use the drop down menu to the left and select “Anderson Elementary” and session type, “Family Photos”. There you will be able to select an appointment date and time.

After you have scheduled your appointment, please pay the fundraising sitting fee of $30 to the office in cash or by cheque made out to “Anderson PAC” by Friday, October 13th. If you have not paid the sitting fee you will be unable to have your family portraits taken. Please note you will not be able to pay for this online or at the time of the session.

Mountain West does require a minimum of 10 families for this fundraising event. If there are not enough families signed up one week before the scheduled date, the event will be cancelled and your money will be returned.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to get signed in and make any final adjustments to hair and wardrobe for your session. Each photo session will last approximately 15 minutes.

The background for the photos will be white. Please dress accordingly. Tips will be available on the PAC section of the school website

Each participating family is eligible to receive one complimentary 8x10 portrait with any purchase, to be selected at time of checkout. Mountain West also offers a variety of packages, holiday cards and gift items to order.

The portrait proofs will be emailed to the email address you provide when signing up for the event approximately 7 business days after the session. You will have approximately 1 week after the email has been sent to place your order to receive the early bird savings of $10. Orders placed before the early bird bonus date will be couriered to the school for distribution. Orders take approximately 2-3 weeks for processing and will be mailed back to the school for distribution.
