Kunar Governor (Wahidullah Kalimzai)’s Biography
Haji Wahidullah "Kalimzai" is the resident of Maidan Wardag Province, Hassan Kheelo village Said Abad district .
MR. Kalimzai is the son of Mupatesh Kalimullah Shanezwal, who was famous elder and knowledgeable personality of Maidan wardag province, he spent most of his life in education sector of the mentioned province.
Mr. Kalimzai is 47 years old, Doctor Obaidullah Kalimzai Member of Parliament and Engineer Hasebullah Kalimzai member of senate (Mishrano Jirga) are his brothers.
Education
Haji Wahidullah Kalimzai has completed his preliminary education in his home town, he has graduated from Abu Bakar Sadeq high school in 1987 in Peshawar, he did his bachelor in Political science, he also studied two years administration and management programs, beside these he also got various military training and workshops, it's worth to be mentioned his recent participation in one of the short training program in the United states America.
Duty and Responsibility
Wahidullah Kalimzai was in the front line of Jihad against the Soviet Union, from 1988 to 1992 he was one of an active and strong commander of National Islamic Front Faction of Afghanistan (Islami Mahaz Gond), he worked in various police station of Kabul City. He worked in Police Station # 9 as an intelligence officer (S2) in Kabul City for one year and he also worked in the same police station as a company commander for one year. He worked for one year as a Training and Education officer (S5) in the Head quarter’s Troop of the Ministry of interior, he worked as a Training and Education officer for one year in the Transport brigade of MOI, from 2004 to 2007 he was conducting his job as an intelligence (S2) officer in Paghman district.
Beside military services Mr. Kalimzai has enough experience in construction field, for example from 2007 to 2009 he worked as a project Manager in Unique Builders Construction company, and from 2009 to 2013 he also worked as a vice President of the mentioned construction company.
Since last two years he is working as Head of wardag province Tribal Shora and provincial Director of the National Islamic Front (Islami Mahaz Gond) of Afghanistan in Wardag Province.
Foreign or abroad visits:
In the last few years MR. Kalimzai had been visited many countries, like America, India, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Turkey.
Languages and modern education
The native language of Wahidullah Kalimzai is Pashto, but he can speaks Dari, Arabic and English, he is familiar with new technology beside internet he can also operate various computer programs.
Social and tribal relation:
Alhaj Kalimizai has a social personality therefore he has a special value among different tribes. He has good relation with religious scholar, tribe elders, civil workers and youths, he regularly attend thier meeting and conference. He also has good relation with local administration in his own province and maintained good relation among the government authority and local communities in order to promote better environment for services promotion. He has strong belief in his own government and his only desire and endless efforts to build strong beliefs of common people on their government to make better governance implementation in provincial remote area.
Kalimzai has always value the voice of youths. He is not only a valuable provincial leader but an active civil worker.
