Congratulations! You are now going to be the expert in your Region of France. Here are some ways that you can prepare your information:

· write it up as a newsletter using Microsoft Publisher

· make a poster

· a power point presentation

o Is there a special type of bread, pastry or other dish that is particular to this region, or to a city in this region?

o Is there a particular food eaten for certain holidays?

Accurate information, spelling and grammar, the quality of your work, neatness and effort, and timeliness will all count. Before submitting your project, you are required to hand in a draft copy.

**This probably sounds like a lot of information… Use these questions to guide you in your research. You do not necessarily need to give a complete, detailed, in-depth answer to each and every question. We are more interested in getting an idea of what your region is about.

Your lesson will be broken into three parts:

1. Presentation of information

2. Design an activity (short game/ little quiz etc )for your classmates to do related to your region, or more specifically that illustrates or reinforces points made in your presentation.

3. Make and bring in a dish local to your region to share with your classmates. You must include a recipe. (Students may have allergies and so need to know what to avoid. They also may like it so much that they want to try it at home

4. Find a song about or in the musical style of that region or a short video about the culture in that region
