1. Warm up and/or review

2. Introduction
Focusing student attention on the lesson-asking questions, using visuals. Stating the objective, relating the objective to previous learning. / Words on board on a “body”
Ask question “What is this?” while pointing to a body part.
State that we will learn the names for the parts of the body. / Blackboard, colored pens, paper box / Linguistic, Bodily, Kinesthetic, Visual, Spatial
3. Presentation
Introduction of new information by a variety of strategies; visuals, realia, descriptions, explanation, or written text. Instructor checks for student comprehension through new vocabulary – grammar structure –life skill-pronunciation. / Repeat words; teacher then student.

4. Practice
Opportunities to practice the new knowledge are provided. Practice is guided through materials and may be whole group, small group, pairs or individuals. Instructor models each activity, monitors progress and provides feedback. / Play a game where students pick a written body part name on a piece of paper out of a hat box and go to board to show where body part belongs / Blackboard, colored pens, paper box / Linguistic, Bodily, Kinesthetic, Visual, Spatial
5. Evaluation
Evaluation of each student on attainment of lesson objectives. Evaluation can be oral, written or demonstrated performance (projects). / Demonstrated knowledge shown by picking correct body parts.

6. Application / Closure
