How Does Nourish Work?

What is Nourish?

OzHarvest’s Nourish Program is a pathway to employment for at-risk youth aged 16 - 25. OzHarvest has partnered with Career Employment Groupand delivers Nourish with the support of volunteers, mentors and qualified industry professionals. There is no charge to the students for this course.

How does Nourish work?

The program is designed as a stepping stone into the hospitality industry and as a means to re-engage youth. After successfully completing an 18-week course, participants will graduate with a nationally recognized Certificate II in Kitchen Operations.

OzHarvest has an ever growing list of food donors and industry contacts who are willing to provide work experience opportunities for successful Nourish graduates.

How to get involved!

By completing the following form the applicant is registering their interest in the Nourish Program. There are limited places available, so applicants will be subject to a review process, and will be contacted directly advising them of this.
