Mary’s is looking for an ambitious and inspiring professional to join the delivery team.
Youth Worker/Administrator
Mary’s Youth Club works with young people aged between 10 - 25, offering an open youth club with opportunities to share, grow, learn and enjoy.
Programmes run Monday to Thursday, with most activity taking place on-site and satellite sessions delivered with our partners. Young people can spend time in the centre with computers (including internet access), games consoles, table football and comfy sofas. We also have a sports hall with basketball hoops, a gym, dance studio, kitchen and classroom. We encourage and support members to organise their own activities.
Our programme of delivery includes employability drop-in sessions (CV and job application support), life skills sessions such as cooking and first aid and sports and fitness programmes like football, basketball and yoga. We signpost and support young people on to further opportunities and agencies. All programmes and activities are secular and we welcome those from all faiths and none.
We also have mentoring scheme which provides one to one support as well as a Co-Producer training programme aimed at leadership, confidence and professional development. Co-Producers who are up for it and join the team of paid staff at Mary’s and deliver the programme.
