The Women’s Guild will meet at 12 P.M. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, for the Christmas potluck. Please sign-up on the bulletin board in the Narthex and please plan to bring a larger dish to share, because the program will be presented by the Joy Singers who will be guests for the meal. Meat and beverages will be provided. The Guild Board will gather at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, December 5 for the meeting and for setting up the dining room. Please join us as we continue to “Serve the Lord with gladness”.

Adopt a Family - EvUCC once again has the joyful opportunity to share our Christmas blessings with others. We will be participating in the Adopt-A-Family programs through HACSM and Hoyleton Ministries. There will be gift tags on the bulletin board in the Narthex. Please choose tags for items you would like to purchase and sign your name by the matching number(s) on the sign-up sheets provided. We are asking this year that presents not be wrapped and that they be returned, with the original gift tag attached, by December 11th.

It is time to order Poinsettias in memory or in honor of a loved one or if you prefer, we are also accepting honorariums and memorials towards any fund you designate. All honorariums and memorials will be printed in the Christmas Eve booklet if received by DECEMBER 18TH. Order forms can be found in the Narthex or in your December Evangelines.

Our next Men's Breakfast will be December 10, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. at the Baymont Inn & Suites in Highland. We will continue on the topic of "Ten Men of the Bible" and we will talk about Moses. Itpromises tobe a good discussion as we apply the Moses story to everyday life. Please let me know or call the Church Office if you plan to attend.

The Stewardship Board will be hosting a BAKE SALE on December 18th in the church lobby between services. All items will be priced at $1 and proceeds will go to Kindercottage. Please bring your sweet tooth on Sunday, December 18th!
