For The Utah Dairy Goat Association Cache Valley Show - July 25th, 2015

This show is sanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association and their rules shall govern for the dairy goat breeds. The Junior and Senior Does are separately sanctioned with ADGA. The base date for these shows will be the show date: July 25th, 2015.

Ring 1judging will begin at 9:00 A.M and Ring 2 will begin immediately following being finished in the first ring. Original registration certificate is required for all animals over 6 months of age. A stamped duplicate or original registration certificate is acceptable for goats under 6 months of age, good for only 30 days past issue. These certificates MUST be shown to the show committee prior to show. Show order is alphabetical with Recorded Grades last. Show order is subject to change at discretion of sponsoring club, judge, and attending exhibitors.

Nigerians will also be AGS sanctioned.

No pre-show milk out is required, BUT please avoid over uddering.

It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to know the requirements of transporting animals into and within the state of Utah. Health papers are not required by our show. However, any goat showing signs of infectious conditions, signs of abscesses, or in poor health, will be refused entry. Please find the person checking goats before penning yours. Disputes will be resolved by a licensed veterinarian at the exhibitor’s expense. Please be considerate of the animals of other exhibitors.

DO NOT BRING ANIMALS WITH ANY HEALTH PROBLEMS!!

Check In:Please try to check in on July 23rd or 24th. You NEED to be checked in one hour before show begins. We will have to scratch your entry, if not checked in, assuming you did not arrive in time for your class. The fairgrounds will be open ThursdayJuly 23rdat noon.

ALL best of breed winners must remain until after Best in Show has been chosen. Help us keep the show running smoothly by having your goat ringside during the class before your goat’s class. A second handler is recommended for those showing multiple breeds. Be courteous to other exhibitors.We must keep classes entering the rings efficiently.

Entry fees: $3.00 per goat, if 10 or more animals are entered

$4.00 per goat, if entries are received by July 17th, 2015

$5.00 per goat if entries are received from July 18th to July 25th

Pen fees: $5.00 per pen. Pens are 6x6. This will accommodate three adults or six kids.

Straw is not allowed as bedding any longer at this facility! Please bring Shavings or plan to buy them from the Show Committee.
