Short Bio:

Dr. Mahmood Ghaleb Al-Bashayreh earned his PhD in IT (Software Engineering) from University Utara Malaysia in 2014. His research interests include reuse-based software engineering (application frameworks), context-awareness computing, and mobile patient monitoring systems.

Dr. Al-Bashayreh has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards including the bronze medal award from Malaysia Technology Exposition in 2013. He was also a recipient of the Charter Member form Microsoft in 2007, and the Best Newcomer from Specialized Technical Services in 2006. He is a member of IEEE Computer Society and IEEE Computer Society Technical Council on Software Engineering.

He has more than ten years of professional technical practical experience in managing, consulting, and constructing enterprise software applications using modern frameworks, proven methodologies, architectural styles, SOLID design principles, and design patterns.

Dr. Al-Bashayreh has presented six research papers at international conferences. Additionally he has six research papers published in international journals. Moreover, he has one book chapter published in the Lecture Notes of the Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.
