Purpose of Job
The Futsal Activator will develop Get Active sessions for students and staff, and be responsible for delivering these sessions each week. The Futsal Activator will also be responsible for coordinating and developing a Futsal league. ______
Duties and Responsibilities
The post holder will:
· Promote and market all futsal participation programmes, especially at Freshers Fayre, via the AU football club, international office etc. Create a futsal event on Facebook.
· Monitor all students who play futsal and ensure a record is kept.
· Organise and coordinate delivery for the Get Active, Stay Active sessions. Achieve a minimum of 20 participants if maximum is 25 or 25 participants if maximum is 30 in each session.
· Coordinate the delivery of a Campus Sport futsal league, and help the delivery of the sessions, e.g. team registrations, fixtures, referees. Achieve a minimum of 12 Futsal teams each term.
· Ensure equipment is kept to a good standard and make staff aware of any issues.
· Form a stronger relationship with the Athletic Union and Futsal Society to ensure there is a pathway from the Campus Sport futsal league into the BUCS futsal league. Including organisation of Campus Sport Varsity events.
· Gain feedback from all futsal participants to establish areas/ ideas for improvements.
· Provide a short testimony about how you have benefited from the qualification/experience.
· Engage in internal and external training in order to further knowledge of delivery and share ideas.
· Attend organised recurrent meetings to discuss your action plan.
· Register and log your hours on the Sports Volunteering Hub.
