  • SCMA#1- Crew is spiking out at Onion Camp. Crew will eventually transition to work directly for OH team. Crew is currently being supported out of Big Bar RD on the Shasta-Trinity. (Still on I.A)
  • VICC#2 and VICC#3- Boulder Fire/ Salmon Complex
  • KYMA#1328– Butler Fire
  • NCF#1–Butler Fire/ Moved over to Salmon spike camp.

TODAY’S CREW ASSIGNMENTS:

SCMA#1 – Constructing line on east side of Corral Complex.

NCF#1- They are building new line south from C/D division break.

VICC#2- Working on Division S of the Salmon Complex on Branch #3. Patrol, hold and mop up previous days burn out. Improve hand line as needed ahead of planned burnouts. Burnout if necessary resources become available from 45 road towards the 33 road. GPS all handlines and turn into situation unit.(Same as day before)

VICC #3- Same division as VICC#2 with the same assignment. (Same as day before)

KYMA#1328- Completing line construction on Division H.

MORALE OF CREWS: All crews are good.

INJURIES:

VICC # 2Crew is doing well no injuries to report and moral is good. Some crew members are experiencing blisters from the steep country.

VICC # 3 All crew members still on the line and doing well. XX was the sick (dehydrated) crew member that received treatment. Has now returned to the line working. Other three crew members had minor upset stomachs and is doing well. No medical attention needed.

MESSAGE:

NCF#1 Moved over to Salmon spike camp. Crew is working hard and gaining a lot of experience.

SCMA#Crew is spiking out at Onion Camp. Crew will eventually transition to work directly for OH team. Crew is currently being supported out of Big Bar RD on the Shasta-Trinity. This crew is still getting good comments and has proven to be a true I.A. crew.

VICC #2Has one crew member inquiring about emergency travel home. Didn’t convey what the emergency is at this time. Crew has some Blisters but is in very good shape. Division and Branch have been very pleased with the performance of this crew. Crew had basic needs of shoe insoles, mole skin and tobacco products. Demob date is listed as 21st on the shift plan

VICC#3 -Crew has been dealing with the issue of the XX over reacting to the upset stomach of a few crewmembers and the one dehydrated person receiving medical attention. The crew was ordered to be quarantined and isolated. The crew was asked to move their camp to not spread the virus. CB didn’t move the camp but elevated the treatment to HR. During the time of elevation the crew was being feed in an isolated field 500 yds. away from camp. Division is very pleased with the hard work and dependability of the crew.
