We look forward to seeing you and your SAGE team delegation at the 2018 SAGE USA National Competition in Henderson, NV. This document contains information about the event and requests information from you to help us with our event planning.

**Each team will be responsible for their own airfare and their own transportation to and from the airport. If you are using one of the options listed above, we suggest calling ahead to get exact details of your transportation costs and to set-up your arrangements.

Attire:

  • Casual attire is recommended for the welcome reception Friday night, May 25.
  • Business attire is requested for the competition portion of the event and the Entrepreneurship Showcase on Saturday, May 26.
  • Formal attireis encouragedduring the evening for the Awards Banquet and Ceremony on Saturday, May 26, 2018.

Information for OFFICIAL Delegates:

  1. An official SAGE TEAM DELEGATION consists of up to fourteen entrepreneurs and one adult coach. Each delegation will be provided up to two rooms for teen entrepreneurs, and one room for adults. Each room can sleep between 1-3 people per room. You will need to split your teams according to gender and/or according to teen entrepreneur/coach (provide your rooming list on the questionnaire below).
  1. Rooming Assignments need to be emailed to Carol Furtado by Sunday, April 27, 2018. Please e-mail the attached questionnaire with COMPLETED room assignments to:
  1. SAGE USA paysfor all lodging, meals, and the awards ceremony for EACH OFFICIAL SAGE TEAM DELEGATE starting the evening of Friday, May 25 and ending after breakfast on the morning of Sunday, May 27.

Information for OFFICIAL and OVERFLOW Delegates:

  1. An official delegation size is a maximum of five people. We encourage teams to bring larger delegations, including students, parents, business leaders, media, etc., bearing in mind that any delegate/guest who is not part of the official delegation of five people totalmust pay a fixed fee to SAGE prior to checking into their sleeping rooms. We refer to such individuals as “Overflow Delegates.” THERE WILL BE NO PRO RATIONS. “Overflow Delegate fees” are as follows:

$600 per person (single occupancy)

$500 per person (double occupancy)

$400 per person (triple occupancy)

  1. This fee will pay for all lodging, meals, and gala dinner/awards ceremony for each respective “overflow” delegate.
  1. “Overflow” Delegate Fees are due May 12, 2018.
