On July 26-28, PAARL will be holding a 3-day national seminar-workshop at AMCO Beach Resort, Sabang, Baler on the theme: “theme “The Support Staff in Today’s Libraries: Keys to Effective Performance-Centered Management.” By focusing on this theme, this seminar aims to focus on the role of today’s library support staff in meeting the challenges and opportunities in today’s librarianship, and to bring about a renewed sense of commitment and purpose to the working librarian in the service of the library community of users.
In this connection, we would like to invite you to give the Welcome and Opening Remarks on the opening day of the conference. We librarians hail this occasion as an excellent opportunity for important local government officials like you to have an educational encounter with librarians and informational professionals from both public and private sectors, to share your ideas and agenda towards the development of libraries as partners of educational institutions in the learning process.
