App: Voice Thread

Objective:

I can answer use the Voice Tread app to create an audio book.

Standards: ELA for Reading: Informational Text and Writing

How to use Voice Thread

1.  The home screen for the app has a drop down menu in

the top left corner. The bottom of the screen has 4 tabs:

Create, Home, Activity and Account.

2.  Students will choose the Create (pencil) tab.

3. To begin creating a new Voice Thread, press the

green circle with the plus sign (+).

4. The next screen will ask if you want to upload a picture(s)

from your library or your camera.

5. Once your pictures have been uploaded, a voice bubble with

a plus sign and the word comment will appear.

6. Press the comment button to add a text, voice or video

to the picture.

7. If you select voice, a 4,3,2,1 countdown will appear. Press the red

record button when you are done. If you are happy with your recording

press save and slide picture to the left to work on the next picture.

8. To complete the Voice Thread and add it to your account, press the

X in the top left corner. The video will appear to preview or share.

9. Return to your Home screen to view your new and old Voice Treads!
