The Korea Kits are free to use. The user agrees to pay a $50 damage/replacement deposit for each kit which will be destroyed upon its return in its original condition. The Center for Korean Studies pays the one-way shipping cost; the user agrees to return the Korea Kit at their own expense. Checks should be made payable to "The University of Michigan" with “Korea Kit” noted in the memo line, and Umust be received prior to the loanU. There is a maximum of 21 days from postdate sent to postdate returned, with extensions available on a case-by-case basis. Please email all inquiries to Minsun Lee at or call 734-647-9857. Korea Kit Contract & Registration Form
The Korea Kits are a collection of artifacts, readings, activities and lesson plans to explore different aspects of culture and life in Korea. They are designed to complement elementary through high school lessons, and are available to all educators, including those in home school communities. Besides social studies, language arts and Korean language classrooms, these materials may also interest teachers of art and music. The Korea Kits are grouped into the following four themes:
