The Minnesota Corrections Education Association (CEA) invites you to exhibit your products, programs, and services at the CEA Region IV annual conference April 8 and 9, 2010. The conference will be held at the Ramada – Mall of America located at 2300 East American Boulevard, Bloomington, Minnesota 55425.

WHO ATTENDS?

The Correctional Education Association membership consists of employees from federal, state, county, and private correctional institutions. This conference will bring together approximately 250 correctional administrators, teachers (both academic and career technical), transition coordinators and librarians from the Midwest. (States invited to this conference include Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.)

RESOURCE FAIR GUIDELINES:

Exhibit Space:

Ø  Space includes the rental of one skirted eight-foot table and two chairs.

o  Additional tables may be rented at an added cost (see contract).

o  Space will be assigned in an exhibit hall on a first-come, first-served basis.

o  Registration and payment must be received by February 19, 2010 for program inclusion.

Electrical Outlets:

Ø  If electrical outlets are needed, please see the attached Electrical Order Form. This form must be submitted to the Ramada – Mall of America with payment by March 24, 2010.

Exhibit Hours:

Ø  Exhibit hours: Thursday, April 8: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Friday, April 9: 7:00 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Ø  There will be breaks scheduled throughout both days for attendees to see your exhibit.


Set Up and Tear Down:

Ø  Exhibitors may set up beginning at 7 a.m. on Thursday, April 8. If the area is available on Wednesday, set up may begin at a time designated by the hotel.

Ø  Tear down will be after 3 p.m. on Friday, April 9.

Security & Liability:

Ø  Security for the vendor area will be provided on Thursday night; you may leave items at your discretion.

Ø  Exhibitors shall accept liability (damage, loss, or accident) which might ensue in connection with transfer, installation, maintenance, display or removal of exhibits.

Advance Shipments:

Ø  If you wish to ship materials in advance, you must contact Randy Feldsien for a copy of the hotel policy.

Meals:

Ø  The exhibitor registration fee covers ONE individual to participate in conference meals.

Ø  Additional meal tickets may be purchased (see contract).

Sponsorships:

Ø  We appreciate exhibitor sponsorships! If you would like to contribute pens, paper pads, door prizes, or sponsor breaks, speakers, and/or Teacher of the Year gifts, please contact Randy Feldsien with your ideas or suggestions as soon as possible.

Workshop Presentation:

Ø  If you are interested in making a workshop presentation, please contact Randy Feldsien.
