8Cricket Club Risk Assessment

Members to discuss the professional risk assessment recently commissioned by Theale & Tilehurst Cricket Club.

9West Berkshire Council Housing Site Allocations

WBC is voting on the approval of new housing allocation sites at a meeting on 5th November 2015. A public consultation will then be conducted. Housing sites recommended for approval in Theale are North Lakeside and the field between The Green and the A340. Members to discuss.

10Theale Housing Needs Survey

The printed survey has been received and delivery to all householders in Theale will commence on 2nd November. Members to assist with the delivery.

11Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade

The Remembrance Service is at Holy Trinity Church on Sunday 8th November, everyone is welcome. Members who are able to assist with manning the road closures from 9.20am until 10.15am, please inform the Clerk.

12CCTV in Theale

WBC has, at very short notice, invited a parish council representative to a meeting on 2nd November to discuss the future of the CCTV in Theale and the possible withdrawal of WBC funding. Members to discuss.

13‘Total Transport’ Survey

Members have been emailed details of the ‘Total Transport’ survey being conducted by WBC, Wokingham Borough Council and Plymouth University and are asked to bring their comments to tonight’s parish council meeting in order that the Clerk can collate them and submit a parish council response.

14*Finance Training

Cllrs Richardson, Williams and Fenwick plus the Clerk recently attended the BALC Finance & Budgeting training.Members to note the Clerk’s written report. Any matters for decision to be on the agenda of the next Full Council finance meeting.

15*Adoption of Parish Council Policies

Members to review the Equal Opportunities Policy and RESOLVE to adopt accordingly.

16Christmas Lights Event

Plans for this year’s Christmas Lights event on Saturday 5th December are well under way. The parish council’s organising committee will provide an update.

17Website

Members to discuss the display of councillor photographs on the parish council website and RESOLVE accordingly.
