WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 98:1-4
PRAYER OF ADORATION
HYMNS OF ADORATION All Praise to Him
Music and Lyrics: Bob Kauflin; Matt Merker
All praise to Him, the God of light
Who formed the mountains by His might
All praise to Him Who names the stars
That sing His fame in skies afar
All praise to Him Who reigns in love
Who guides the galaxies above
Yet bends to hear our every prayer
With sovereign pow’r and tender care
All praise to Him whose love is seen
In Christ the Son, the Servant King
Who left behind His glorious throne
To pay the ransom for His own
All praise to Him Who humbly came
To bear our sorrow, sin, and shame
Who lived to die, Who died to rise
The all-sufficient sacrifice
All praise to Him whose pow’r imparts
The love of God within our hearts
The Spirit of all truth and peace
The fount of joy and holiness
To Father, Son, and Spirit now
Our souls we lift, our wills we bow
To You, the triune God, we raise
With loving hearts our song of praise
Great is Thy Faithfulness
Great is thy faithfulness, O God my father,
There is no shadow of turning with thee:
Thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not;
As thou hast been thou forever wilt be.
Chorus:
Great is thy faithfulness, great is thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see:
All I have needed thy hand hath provided—
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Chorus
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside.
Chorus
CONFESSION OF SIN
Merciful God, whose Son Jesus Christ was tempted in every way, yet without sin, we confess before you our own sinfulness: We have hungered after that which does not satisfy; we have compromised with evil; we have doubted your power to protect us. Forgive our lack of faith; have mercy on our weakness. Restore in us such trust and love that we may walk in your ways and delight in doing your will; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
SILENT CONFESSION OF SIN
ASSURANCE OF GOD’S MERCY 1 Corinthians 1:18, 22-24
HYMN OF GOD’S MERCY Come Ye Souls, By Sin Afflicted
Music: Kevin Twitt
Come ye souls by, sin afflicted,
Bowed with fruitless, sorrow down;
By the broken, law convicted,
Through the cross, behold the crown;
Look to Jesus; Look to Jesus; Look to Jesus;
Mercy flows through Him alone.
Take His easy, yoke and wear it;
Love will make your, obedience sweet;
Christ will give you, strength to bear it,
While His grace, shall guide your feet
Safe to glory, Safe to glory, Safe to glory,
Where His ransomed captives meet.
Bless-ed are the, eyes that see Him,
Blest the ears that, hear His voice;
Bless-ed are the, souls that trust Him,
And in Him, alone rejoice;
His commandments, His commandments, His commandments
Then become their happy choice.
Sweet as home to, pilgrims weary,
Light to newly, opened eyes,
Like full springs in, deserts dreary,
Is the rest, the cross supplies;
All who taste it, all who taste it, all who taste it
Shall to rest immortal rise.
Look to Jesus; Look to Jesus; Look to Jesus;
Mercy flows through Him alone.
CONFESSION OF FAITH from The New City Catechism
Question 16: What is Sin?
Answer: Sin is rejecting or ignoring God in the world he created, rebelling against him by living without reference to him, not being or doing what he requires in his law—resulting in our death and the disintegration of all creation.

Genesis 16 “Foolishness v. Faithfulness”
HYMN OF RESPONSE Satisfied
Music: Red Mountain Music
All my life long, I had panted
for a drink from some cool stream,
that I hoped would, quench the burning
of the thirst I felt within
Chorus:
Hallelujah! He has found me,
the one my soul so long has craved.
Jesus satisfies, all my longings,
Through his blood I now am saved.
Feeding on the filth around me
till my strength was almost gone.
Longed my soul for something better,
only still to hunger on.
Chorus
Poor I was and, sought for riches,
something that would satisfy.
But the dust I, gathered round me,
only mocked my souls sad cry
Chorus
Well of water, ever springing,
Bread of Life so rich and free,
untold wealth that, never faileth,
my Redeemer is to me.
Chorus
