- All village halls are somewhat run down and dilapidated. Each village has its own aspirations to either a new village hall or an improved exiting hall:
- Thorney Toll wish to continue fund-raising to refurbish, extend and ensure DDA compliance of the hall to secure the future of the hall and future fundraising events.
- Guyhirn wish to build a new community centre due to lack of parking and facilities at existing village hall.
- The residents of Wisbech St Mary wish to have improvement to the village community centre the form of which to be decided by reference to the community.
- Although there are no immediate plans for Murrow’s village hall, there will be ongoing upkeep & maintenance issues.
