Purpose Of Job
To provide quality administrative support to Marketing team for English courses to ensure the operations run smoothly and to the standards.
To assist with the marketing promotion/ events of English courses, including efficient and professional running of online and offline marketing campaigns.

British Council Korea has 5 teaching centres- City Hall, Mokdong, Seocho, Euiljiro and Gangnam, The teaching centres deliver core BC adult and YL teaching products to almost 5000 learners and is one of the biggest in the global network.
Key focus for the marketing team is to develop and implement an effective marketing and communications strategy also run the quality experience activities and marketing events to engage with target audience.
We are looking for Marketing Assistant working together with TC Marketing team to assist to implement and constantly improve online and offline marketing campaign performance.
Accountabilities, Responsibilities And Main Duties
·  Support the marketing team in the following areas:
Various projects and events: Assist to carry out events and projects, including tasks like delivering presentation, collecting feedback from target audience, preparing promotional materials, checking/setting up venue, contacting and confirming media, and writing event evaluation report and so on.
Branding materials: Provide assistance on brand materials management, including but not limited to managing stock, warehousing and transportation and liaising with vendors.
Contacts database update: Maintain and update the database of key contacts and documents, e.g. stakeholders and Medias.
Support to carry out basic marketing research: such as competitor research, market research and customer research, and events evaluation.
Provide administrative support to the team: e.g. arranging meeting, taking meeting minutes, liaising with team members nationwide etc., translation or interpretation, mailing documents,
Support line manager to develop market development plan and implement it
Conduct regular market visits to understand the market situation, to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; and develop initiatives as needed to grow Teaching Centre business.
·  Provide assistance on finance issues, which includes:
-  Create new vendor
-  Assist line manager/director to monitor budget
-  Filing contracts and quotations.
·  Professional development and team support
-  Attend training offered by British Council and other agreed training courses related to Job Description.
-  Cover the work of other marketing colleagues as necessary.
·  To ensure all duties are delivered in line with the British Council’s policy on Child Protection and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and these is taken into account when planning and delivering activity
·  Manage information created and received in compliance with the British Council’s information management standards, policies, the UK data protection principles and local legislation.

Travel within Korea is necessary. Occasional weekend and evening work.
