MajorDuties:
(a) To plan and organize campus-wide activities / events related to design education, such as graduation show and information days;
(b) To organize and assist in the promotion and publicity planning of campus-wide activities, events, exhibitions, cultural and design-related programmes;
(c) To coordinate the design, production and procurement of marketing materials, souvenirs and publications;
(d) To support editorial work of design-related literature; and
(e) To maintain close contacts with industry and professional bodies with a view to promoting the brand image of HKDI and IVE (Lee Wai Lee).
Requirements:
(a) A recognized degree or equivalent;
(b) At least 3 years’ relevant experience at an appropriate level of responsibility, preferably in design production, editorial and event management;
(c) A good understanding of the education market, preferably in design education;
(d) Good communication and interpersonal skills;
(e) Good problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently; and
(f) Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.
Notes:
(1) The post is in the rank of “Lecturer”.
(2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment in both English and Chinese before the interview.
(3) The appointee may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours.
