Ø  MISSING BOY TRACED BY ANTI HUMAN TRAFFICKING UNIT OF CRIME BRANCH.

Ø  BOY WAS MISSING FROM PREM NAGAR, KIRARI, DELHI.

Ø  TRACED FROM PUNJAB WITHIN A SHORT PERIOD OF ONE MONTH.

A team of ‘Anti Human Trafficking Unit’ of Crime Branch led by Inspr. Dinesh Sharma and consisting of ASI Ravinder, HC Chand Ram, Ct. Gajender under the supervision of ACP/AHTU Virender Singh Yadav and overall supervision of DCP/Crime Dinesh Kumar Gupta has located a boy, aged 15 years who had been missing from Delhi. The boy was located at Amritsar, Punjab and has since been reunited with his parents.

The boy, resident of Prem Nagar, Kirari, Delhi was missing from his house since 20/02/2014. A case of kidnapping was registered at PS Aman Vihar, Outer District and investigation was taken up by local police. But missing boy could not be traced inspite of best efforts.

Later, on 01/08/2014, the investigation of this case was transferred to Anti Human Trafficking Unit of Crime Branch. The Crime Branch team conducted detailed and meticulous investigation and was able to locate the boy at Amritsar, Punjab. The recovered boy has stated that he had left his home because his parents had scolded him and had gone to Punjab on his own. The boy has since been restored back to his parents.

Further investigation is in progress.

With the arrest of husband and wife duo, Neetoo @ Nitin s/o Naresh age 26 years r/o House. No. 85, near Holi chowk, Distt. Sharanpur, UP and his wife Meenu age 24 years, Police Station New Delhi Railway Station has busted a gang of criminals who used to drug the passengers and steal their belongings/luggages. Stolen valuables have been recovered and four cases of drugging have been solved with their arrest.

Team

After some incidents of drugging at Railway Stations of Delhi were reported, a joint team of Delhi Police and RPF consisting of Inspector Om Prakash Pawar, SHO/New Delhi Railway Station, Inspector Anil Kumar Sharma, Inspector, RPF Post New Delhi Railway Station, SI Ashok Kumar, SI Mahender Singh, ASI Arvind Kumar, HC Kuldeep, Ct. Ashok Kumar, was constituted under the supervision of ACP/Railways Sh. O. P. Singh to crack the cases.

Operation

On 04.09.2014, the joint team was patrolling at the New Delhi Railway Station. The team was keeping watch over passengers waiting for trains. They suddenly saw two ladies and two gents with a child sitting on a bed sheet at Platform no. 1 in front of CSM Office. After sometime, the team noticed that young boy and young lady who had just consumed tea sitting in that group were getting little unconscious. In the mean time, one person and one lady out of the gathering got up and started escaping. The team sprung into action and caught one male and his associate, a lady, who were trying to escape. On investigation it was revealed that they were husband and wife and had drugged the other couple. The victim couple later regained consciousness and disclosed that the accused persons namely Neetoo and his wife Meenu met them at New Delhi Railway Station and asked them about their destination. They told them that they are also going to Ranchi and thus they became friendly. They sat together on platform no. 1 to wait for the train. Accused Neetoo braught four cups of tea. After consuming tea they started feeling unwell and accused’s wife Meenu took her mobile phone and purse and wallet of her husband. The Nokia mobile phone and purses containing Election Card, Rs. 725/- and other articles were recovered from the accused.

Investigation

During interrogation Neetoo and his wife disclosed that they used to visit Railway Stations and target the vulnerable passengers. They used to befriend passengers by telling that they are also going to the same destination. Neetoo used to bring tea and offer the same to the passengers. He would lace the tea with the powder of Ativan 2 mg tablet and thus would make the target passengers unconscious. They would even board the train with the target passengers and wait for the passengers to get unconscious. They would then steal the belongings of the unconscious passengers and get off the train. They further disclosed that they have drugged many passengers in trains and at Railway Stations by the same modus operandi.

Profile

Accused Neetoo, was born at Distt. Sharanpur, UP. The accused Neetoo has studied up tp 6th class. He was first time arrested at PS Titron, Distt. Sharanpur in a house theft case. He married Meenu 8 years back and has two children. He wanted to make big money and thus he and his wife started drugging passengers.

5.  Six ladies purses.

6.  20 tablets of Ativan 2mg.

ONE REWARD HOLDER NOTORIOUS, INTER STATE ROBBER /IMPOSTER ARRESTED AND ONE PISTOL ALONG WITH 12 CARTRIDGES ALONG WITH UNIFORM OF UP POLICE CONSTABLE RECOVERED

With the arrest of accused Himachal Baliyan @ Vishal @ Chinku S/o Krishan Pal R/o Gali No. 2, Behind Mata Mandir, Mohalla Omnagar, Kankar Khera Meerut UP. age-24 years the staff of PS New Ashok Nagar/East District arrested an active member of a notorious interstate robber gang. One Pistol, One Magazine along with 12 Live cartridges of different Bores were recovered from him.

INCIDENT:-

A secret information about a interstate reward holder robber was received at PS New Ashok Nagar. A team consisting of SI Kulbir Rana, HC Sandeep, HC Devender was constituted under the supervision of Insp. D.P. Singh, ATO/N.A.Nagar and overall supervision of Sh. Sanjay Sehrawat ACP/Kalyan Puri to act on the information. On 04.09.2014, accused Himachal Baliyan @ Vishal @ Chinku S/o Krishan Pal R/o Gali No. 2, Behind Mata Mandir, Mohalla Omnagar, Kankar Khera Meerut UP age-24 years seen by Ct. Dharmendra No. 3098/E when he was on patrolling duty in the area of PS New Ashok Nagar. He challenged Himachal and overpowered him resistence from him. After searching frisking of above said accused One Pistol with 5 live cartridges were recovered from his possession. A case under Arms Act was registered at PS New Ashok Nagar. During sustained interrogation, accused disclosed that he was involved in various heinous cases in UP and Delhi. On his disclosure, a raid was conducted at his rented house i.e. D-1/295, New Kondli Delhi 96. During search of the said premises one spare magazine with 7 live rounds of different bores and one uniform of UP Police Constable were recovered from his residence.

BACKGROUND

On sustained interrogation, accused Himachal Baliyan @ Vishal @ Chinku disclosed that his father was working with UP Police and his mother died in suspicious condition when he was seven years old. Thereafter his father got married with another woman. He suspected the involvement of his father in his mother’s death. He did not get enough money for his livelihood. After completing BBA from Meerut, he came in contact with Kapil and Amit both r/o Saharanpur UP. Kapil and Amit both were extravagant and used to spend a lot of money on alcohol, etc. He became an alcohol in their company. He came to know that his friends got money for their fun by committing crimes. To fulfil their desires he alongwith his friends started committing crimes. As his father was in UP Police, he had fair idea about the working of police personnel. In the year 2011 he alongwith his associates committed Murder cum robbery in the area of PS Kankankhera, Meerut UP. He has not been arrested in this case so far. Later on in the year 2012, he committed attempt to Murder and fired on his father to take revenge of his mother`s death. He also disclosed about robbery of Swift Dezire car in the area of Saharanpur UP area along with cash 1,60,000/- followed by one more robbery in the area of Shahranpur. In the month of July 2014 he kidnapped one minor girl from the area of PS Shamli, UP and started residing with her in the area of Kondli with a fake name ‘Vishal’. He introduce himself as UP Police Constable to all neighbours including landlord. He and his another associate Rinku r/o NOIDA committed robbery in the month of July near Mayur Vihar III, Delhi. One UP Police Constable uniform with Ct Vikas’ name plate was also recovered from his instance from his rented room above.

Delhi Traffic Police wins awards in the field of Road Safety Campaign and Creative Excellence

Delhi Traffic Police has been actively contributing towards imparting Road Safety education to all categories of road users and drivers such as school children, college students, commercial vehicle drivers, DTC drivers, police and army personnel, drivers of both organized and unorganized sectors and other motorists in which they are given lectures and training on safe driving, lane discipline, effects of drunken driving and other important aspects of road safety. The staff of Road Safety Cell of traffic police visit schools, display mobile exhibition van at important places and distributes pamphlets on Road Safety to various road users of Delhi. Film Shows for imparting road safety education are also organized for general public in various parts of Delhi. To encourage community participation traffic Wardens are appointed. Traffic Wardens serve as a bridge between the traffic police and the community for better understanding of local and general traffic problems. A total of 350 schools and 2 colleges are enrolled as members of the Road Safety Club.

Delhi Traffic Police also has 5 Traffic Training Parks at i) Pragati Maidan ii) Bal Bhawan iii) Roshanara Bagh iv) Baba Kharak Singh Marg and v) Punjabi Bagh. Regular visits of school children and teachers are organized to these Traffic Training Parks to educate them on road rules.

Sustained media campaigns have been undertaken through electronic & print media and outdoor advertising to sensitize general public on road safety issues.

In recognition of the initiative the Delhi Traffic Police has been conferred the “Campaign of The Year Inks Award – 2014” in the field of enhancing Road Safety.

In addition, Delhi Traffic Police has been granted winners certificate for “Creative Excellence” in recognition of outstanding media initiatives entered in “Excellence in Advertising Awards – 2014” including devising a game for children for imbibing road safety ethics and norms.

ONE SNATCHER ARRESTED

WITH THE HELP OF PUBLIC PERSONS

The staff of Police Station Mayapuri/West District has arrested a snatcher namely Rahul Sethi @ Gullu, with the help of public persons in case FIR No.385/14 Dt 04.09.2014 U/S 356/379/411 IPC Police Station Maya Puri.

NAME & PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED

Rahul Sethi @ Gullu, aged 23 years S/o Prem Kumar, R/o RZ-55A, Street No. 5 Main Sagar Pur Delhi and RZ-212 GF Gali No 2 Dabri Extn Delhi. He has studied up to 12th Standard. He is presently unemployed. He has been involved in 23 criminal cases of various nature crimes i.e. snatching, theft and narcotics committed in the area of Maya Puri, Janak Puri, Sagar Pur & Chanakya Puri.

RECOVERY MADE

1.  One Purse of Black Colour.

2.  Cash Rs.1240/- and one photocopy of Election Card of the complainant Smt. Sama Satwal.

3.  One Scooty bearing No DL 9 TC 0328 Suzuki Swiss.

INCIDENT AND OPERATION

On 04.09.14, Smt. Sama Satwal alongwith her husband Ramesh Satwal was returning to her residence at Nangal Rai from market. When she reached near her home and her husband was slightly away from her, suddenly, one person came on scooty bearing No DL 9 TC 0328 Suzuki Swiss and snatched her black colour purse containing cash Rs.1240/- and one photocopy of Election card. Immediately, she shouted for help. On hearing her scream, her husband Ramesh Satwal and one public person Ratan Lal reached there and both promptly caught hold of the snatcher. Then they handed over to the police party who were on patrolling duty. The snatcher was identified as Rahul Sethi @ Gullu, aged 23 years S/o Prem Kumar, R/o RZ-55A, Street No. 5 Main Sagar Pur Delhi and RZ-212 GF Gali No 2 Dabri Extn Delhi. The accused was arrested vide FIR No.385/14 dt.04.09.2014 U/S 356/379/411 IPC Police Station Maya Puri.

During enquiry it was revealed that he has been released on Bail on 26.08.2014 from Jail in snatching case. He is drug addict. As he was not having sufficient money to buy drugs so he committed this crime. At the time of incident he was under the influence of drug.

Smt. Sama Satwal, Sh. Ramesh Satwal and Sh. Ratan Lal have displayed their presence of mind, courage, high sense of commitment and thus succeeded in arresting snatcher namely Rahul Sethi @ Gullu on the spot. A reward of Rs.2500/- is being sanctioned to each of them.

FOUR HARDCORE CRIMINALS ARRESTED

Staff of PS Nangloi West Distt has done a good work by arresting four hardcore criminals namely Rajesh @ Lala, Pardeep, Sunil and Sandeep in case FIR No.580/14 u/s 336/384/120-B/34 IPC and 25/27/54 Arms Act PS Nangloi and recovered 2 empty, one live cartridges and one BEAT car bearing No. temp. DL-04 TC- 0534 from their possession.
