Houston County Career Woman Future Career Woman
Eligibility Requirements
1. The applicant must be a graduating high school senior attending high school in Houston County.
2. The applicant is required to represent the Houston County Career Women in the annual Lighted Christmas parade in Crockett Texas on November 19th, 2015.
3. Applicant must be of good character as evidenced by at least two (2) letters of reference (neither can be from a relative). One reference shall be from your high school counselor and the other reference from a teacher or principal from the school the applicant is currently attending.
4. Applicant must furnish a certified copy of their school transcript.
5. The recipient of the 2015-2016 Future Career Woman award shall receive $250.00 towards their college expenses payable to the recipient in the spring of 2016.
6. Applications must be received no later than September 15th. Notification of award will be made by email or through the local high school counselor’s office.
