Develop your geographical knowledge of the rainforests, especially their location in the world; create a physical map using salt dough to demonstrate your learning. / Children will:
- Develop geographical knowledge and vocabulary linked to rainforests.
- Locate main world tropical rainforest regions.
- Create a relief map showing world rainforests.

David Attenborough visits our school!
Search for information about world rainforests; capture your knowledge in a non-chronological report and then create a documentary in the style of ‘David Attenborough’. / Children will:
- Develop geographical knowledge and vocabulary linked to rainforests.
- Investigate main world tropical rainforest regions.
- Write a non-chronological report on a rainforest.
- Go into role as a TV presenter to give a presentation.
