I.  CALL TO ORDER

Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance

II.  PUBLIC INPUT FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ON THE AGENDA

In order to expedite the flow of business and to provide all the citizens the opportunity to speak, the Mayor may impose a three minute limitation on any person addressing the Council.*

*Citizen comments are limited to three (3) minutes per speaker.

III.  OPEN PUBLIC HEARINGS

1.  Conduct a public hearing on a proposed tax rate of .660000 per $100 of taxable value. The proposed tax rate would increase total taxes in Justin by 8.3%.

2.  Conduct a public hearing on the proposed FY 2015-2016 budget.

The City Council will vote on the proposed tax rate and the FY 2015-2016 budget on September 14, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Justin City Hall, 415 North College Avenue, Justin, Texas.

IV.  IMPORTANT DATES

3.  Monday September 7, 2015 City of Justin offices will be closed in observance of Labor Day.

4.  Monday, September 14, 2015, at 7:00 pm Regular City Council Meeting to adopt City Budget.

5.  Saturday October 10th and Saturday October 17th, 2015 is City of Justin Fall Clean-up Days. Located on the Southeast Corner of FM 156 and East 1st Street across the railroad tracks. Starts at 8:00 am thru 4:00 pm (until the dumpsters are full). Fort Worth Hazardous Household Waste will be on hand to accept any materials considered hazardous that the City cannot put in the dumpsters, including:

Antifreeze

Motor Oil

Batteries

Chemicals/Solvents/Gasoline

Paint

Fluorescent Light Tubes

Pesticides

6.  Tuesday October 6, 2015 at 6:00 pm is National Night Out at Justin City Hall, 415 N. College Ave. Invite neighbors and come join us for games and food.

7.  Saturday October 10, 2015 and Saturday October 17, 2015 are both fall clean up days. Bring to same location on East 1st Street.

8.  Saturday October 24, 2015 is the Annual Justin Volunteer Fire Department Fish Fry at 304 N. Sealy, Justin Fire Department. The Fish Fry starts at 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Cost is to be determined.
