Final Steps

  1. Make sure you have followed the wiring diagram and double check all connections.
  1. Pull the white button on the Honeywell fan/limit stat outward so the Fan circuit is in the Automatic mode.
  1. Check that the brass link between the lower fan and limit connections of the Honeywell fan/limit stat has been removed.
  1. Re-apply the power.
  1. Initially the high limit interlock relay will need to be reset as indicated by the indicator on the new button that was installed. Please note that every time power is lost to the unit the high limit interlock relay will need to be reset.
  1. Set the temperature pins on the Honeywell fan/limit stat to 86°, 122° & 194° respectively. Note these are in Fahrenheit not Centigrade. The equivalent values are 30°C, 50°C & 90°C.
  1. Start the heater and make sure the main fan starts when the middle pin (set to 122) passes the temperature indicating arrow. Carefully rotate the centre dial of the Honeywell stat until the high limit pin (set at 194°) passes the temperature indicating arrow, this should stop the burner and illuminate the limit reset button. Release the centre dial and wait for the unit to cool, the main fan will stop when the temperature falls below the first pin (set to 86°).
  1. Push the limit reset button to reset the interlock relay. The heater can now be left to operate normally.
