A Wonderful School Trip

Have you ever joined a trip that required you to sleep in a small tent with your friends? Or, have you ever cooked the meals all by yourselves outside? Ithink most of you had this kind of experience, right? And, so did I. I also had a wonderful school trip in the seventh-grade.

It was a sunny day; the wind was so delightful that I couldn’t help smiling all the time. We just arrived our destination, “Shangri-La amusement park”.My first thought of this place was, “What a beautiful place!”We were surrounded by plenty of trees with birds singing happily. The flowers seemed to smilelovely to us, just like they were welcoming for our visit.I loved this place at the first sight.

When we arrived a huge playground, we met our captain. She was short, cute but her voice was so powerful. She taught us to do a lot of funny movements which helped us get more points. We yelled as loudly as we could to compete with other teams. Whichever team yelled the most loudly could get more points, and the team which got most points was the winner. That’s why everybody worked so hard to get the honor. If you wanted to win,you would have to work hard with your classmates.

The most exciting part of the trip was a campfire party. As the campfire was lighting up, everyone was going bananas. Fluorescent lights shook in all the students’ hand, and the meeting ground was filled with music and shout.Everyone was clapping, singing, dancing, and even yelling.I didn’t join this kind of crazy party before, so I enjoyed it a lot. I yelled out loudly, I did the funny movements thoroughly, and I put all my energy in all activities. At that moment,I felt so touched. My lovely friends and I were participating in the same activities, and singing the same songs. I suddenly realized that having friends aroundwas the simplest kind of happiness.

Time flew fast;this fantastic trip finally came to an end.As the idiom goes, “He that travels far knows much.” I am so thankful to my school for giving us this golden opportunity to camp with my classmate. In the two-day trip, we learned to cook by ourselves, we tried to help each other with the game, we shared the different ideaswithour classmates, and we learned how to survive in the field. You can’t ever learn these experiences in class. I felt a little sad to say goodbye to the beautiful scenes and passionate friendsthere. But, I believe I will keep these priceless memories in my mind forever. And, this is really a wonderful school trip.
