FY2019 Marketing Plan - Jonathan Scherzer
Jonathan Scherzer presented the FY2019 Marketing Plan. The plan focuses on how CDTA connects to the Capital Region, its route network, mobility options, and attracting people to use them. It includes a suite of marketing assets covering mass marketing and educational needs. It will showcase CDTA’s product line with enhanced personal opportunities, provide sustainable travel choices, and connect people to economic opportunity. We will try to make transit mobility something customers will look forward to.
Our service helps to create entertainment districts by encouraging businesses to locate near transit service. It connects people to arts and culture and encourages healthy life styles.
Advertising campaigns will include key products such as:
-Navigator to incentivize customers to join
-CDPHP Cycle! with more bikes and new locations
-Trolleys for shopping and tourism
-BusPlus to highlight its success, make the case for expansion and target young professionals.
The marketing calendar of upcoming events was included in the members’ packets.
Adjournment and Next Meeting
The next meeting of the Committee will be held at noon on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 110 Watervliet Avenue.
