held on Wednesday, 15th February 2017
in the Meeting Room, Dordon Village Hall at 6.00pm

D Barratt mentioned and discussed the following:-
Ø HS2 partly taken into consideration.
Ø Received information on educational aspects.
Ø Environ Mental Health carrying out Air Pollution study on the A5.
Ø Information Booklet to be circulated in Parish.
Ø Drop-in session to be held in Dordon on the 14th March 2017 in the Village Hall.
Ø Atlas would attend a special meeting.
Ø Commented the Local Plan and Core Strategy are still intact.
Ø P Morson raised the option to create a new settlement. D Barratt replied a site large enough had not come forward.
Ø Call for sites – Landowners request inclusion into the Local Plan.
Ø P Morson suggested a new settlement at Curdworth.
Ø C Morson asked why NWBC have been asked and agreed to take more houses to assist the Birmingham requirement.
Ø D Barratt said Dordon would be taking the largest percentage of houses.
Ø D Barratt gave an outline of the Infrastructure Delivery Plan.
Ø S Ridley presented a letter regarding Housing Proposal.
Neighbourhood Plan
Ø S Wilson said the Designated Boundary can be full or part of Boundary.
Ø Will consult other Parish Councils and advise.
Ø Would include Freasley.
Ø One Neighbourhood Plan for each area.
Ø As soon as designated, need to get everyone involved.
Ø Locality still providing funding.
Ø No timescale for Neighbourhood Plan.
Ø J Winter requested S Wilson to provide twenty copies of Boundary Plan.
761 / Declaration of Personal and Prejudicial Interest
P Morson declared an interest regarding NWBC Planning and WCC Regulatory Committee. B Garratt declared an interest regarding any matters concerning Dordon Church.
762 / Parish Hall Report
The Clerk reported the following:-
Ø Received one roof repair quotation with two more Contractors reviewing roof repair on Friday.
Ø Damaged glass panel in door. Glazier contacted; requested 50% payment up front. Councillors requested the Clerk to identify another glazier who does not request funds up front.

The Minutes of the Meeting of the Parish Council held on the 18th January 2017 were approved as a true and correct record.
Resolved: To approve the Minutes of the Meeting held on the 18th January 2017.

b) Dordon Village Hall – Registration
P Morson and C Morson returned the Declaration regarding registration of land to the Clerk. The Clerk to ask S Wilson/D Barratt for an O.S. Map. / Councillor

Ø B Garratt circulated idea schedule for Competition.
Ø Could use title – Dordon 2017.
Ø All photographs to be displayed in Village Hall.
Ø No online entries.
Ø Posters to be printed at School.

Ø This matter to be reported to the Area Forum Meeting to be held on the 23rd February 2017.

Ø The Clerk to invite Atlas Planning to a meeting with Councillors.
Ø It was proposed, seconded and agreed that the whole of the Parish Boundary should be the Neighbourhood Plan Designated Boundary.
Resolved: To have the whole Parish Boundary as the Designated Neighbourhood Plan Boundary.
Ø P Morson reported the following:-
· Martin Eade to advise regarding development proposals for Dordon.
· Grant applications progressing.
· Provided funding for Youth Club on Monday Nights at Village Hall.
· Pollution checks at several locations.
Ø M Doggett commented a meeting of the Area Committee of Parish Council was planned for the 6th March 2017.
Ø D Sales said water accumulating in the road outside the Stutt due to the drain needs dropping. Clerk to report. Clerk asked D Sales if he could photograph the problem.
Ø B Garratt reported new fencing needed around churchyard to discourage use of motor cycles in that vicinity. D Sales suggested installation of a Kissing Gate.
Ø D Sales and W Whitmore gave details of a resident with a dangerous dog. It was agreed incidents need to be reported to the Police.
Ø W Whitmore commented there was a lot of rubbish/litter around the School and suggested children should be educated to take litter home.
Ø Dukes Road – The Shortwoods – Pathway needs attention. / Clerk
