From M1 (South)

Take exit 33 from the M1 Signposted Sheffield Centre/Rotherham A630

At the roundabout take the first exit onto Sheffield Parkway A630

Follow this road for 5 miles.

Just after the retail park (Matalan, Mecca Bingo etc) take the right hand turning signposted A61N.

Follow A61/ Derek Dooley Way for 3/4 miles until reaching Shalesmoor Roundabout.

Go straight on at the roundabout to stay on A61.

After 2 miles, just after the Big Yellow Self Storage on the right, take the left turn onto Bradfield Road A6101. There is a KFC on the corner.

Carry on straight along A6101, over a small roundabout and on through Hillsborough Corner.

Continue straight on at the junction, following the branch off of the tram line along Holme Lane.

Just after the Malin Bridge tram stop a one way system begins.

Follow this round to the second left, signposted Stannington and called Stannington Rd.

Wood Lane is the second road on the right hand side off Stannington Road. The first being Malin Road which is a small cul-de-sac.

The Countryside Centre is just past the first road on the right.

If you reach Myers Grove School you have gone too far.

There is very limited space in the grounds of the Centre to park, please park on one of the residential streets opposite.

It should be possible to unload heavy items in the courtyard if required.

From M1 North

Take exit 36, signposted Sheffield North.

At roundabout take 3rd exit onto A61.

Follow A61 into Hillsborough for 7.5 miles.

Continue past the football stadium and the park (right hand side)

Soon after the park turn right onto Owlerton Green (A6101)

Carry on straight along A6101, over a small roundabout and on through Hillsborough Corner.

Continue straight on at the junction, following the branch off of the tram line along Holme Lane.

From Manchester

Two routes are possible – the A57 is the shorter route but this road may not be open, depending on the weather.

If it is good, follow A57 through Glossop and past Ladybower resevoir.

At the fork, take the road to the left, Rivelin Valley Road/A6101.

Take the first road on the left, Rails Road.

Follow this road for 1 mile, then take a sharp left onto Stannington Road.

Turn Right onto Wood Lane, follow Wood Lane past the school, the centre will be on the left.

It should be possible to unload heavy items in the courtyard if required.

If weather is bad, take A628 across the Peaks then turn right onto A616 near Langsett Resevoir.

Follow A616 then take the exit on the left to A629 signed Pensitone/Huddersfield. Turn right at junction onto A629 towards Sheffield.

At the end of the road, by the Jet Garage, turn right onto A61.

Follow A61 into Hillsborough.
