PUBLIC WORKS

EMERGING LEADER AWARD

2016 NOMINATION RULES

(Northern California Chapter Award)

APWA Northern California Chapter is proud to recognize the efforts of those in the public and private sector who exemplify the best in public works practices. The Emerging Leader Award recognizes and encourages our emerging young APWA members who have:

·  Demonstrated an initial commitment to the profession and to the Chapter

·  Show potential for future growth within APWA and/or within the Chapter

The award promotes the concept that length of career does not necessarily indicate leadership abilities or potential for service. The Chapter Staff Appreciation Awards Committee will select the top nominee in this category. The recipient as selected by the NorCal Chapter will be advanced to National and be considered for the Young Leader of the Year Award distributed on a National level.

Forms are due by midnight July 12, 2016
