FORMAT:

Students will gather for a web chat to conduct a Character Playbook discussion featuring 1-2 Athletes, cheerleaders and/or other personnel. To start, students will take part in a True and False game (or other interactive activity). Next, the players and/or cheerleaders will participate in a Q&A with students focusing on Character Education. These questions will focus on connecting what the students are learning in the Character Playbook course and how it relates to life inside and outside of football.

SPONSOR BRANDING:

Audio: At the start of the LIVE event, an EVERFI representative will make initial greetings and establish that this event and the Character Playbook program is made possible through a joint partnership with the NFL and United Way, and Verizon (where applicable). At the close of the event, either the emcee or the athlete will again highlight the vital role of the UWW, NFL (and Verizon) in bringing this unique opportunity to local schools.

Visual: Character Playbook Pop Up banners will be displayed behind the athlete so that any visuals clearly display the brands behind the Character Playbook LIVE event. In addition, a graphic treatment will be superimposed on the screen during the video conference, for consistent branding whether a student is watching on their own computer or on a shared viewing device.

EVENT PROMOTION:

A media advisory will be developed in collaboration with all parties. EVERFI will work closely with its partners to communicate with local reporters who may elect to attend the event, and direct them accordingly to schools or team facility. Draft of the advisory and Character Playbook press release will be available in advance of the event.
