The following assignments must be completed before taking Ultimate Race Quiz #1:

1. pg 222 #28-43

2. pg 228-229 #11-25, #29-35, #39-43, and #47-51 (all odds)

3. pg 234-235 #13-33 odd, #37-49 odd

The following assignments must be completed before taking Ultimate Race Quiz #2:

4. pg 240 #9-19 odd, #23-27 odd, #31-35 odd

5. pg 245-246 #17-27 odd, #31-35 odd

6. pg 249-250 #11-17 odd, 21-29 odd

The following assignments must be completed before taking the Ultimate Race Test.

7. pg 256 #13-29 odd, #33-37 odd

8. pg 807 #5-43 odd

Quiz #1 will be given in class on Friday, December 4th.

Quiz #2 will be given in class on Friday, December 11th.

Ultimate Race Test will be given in class on Thursday, December 17th.

To take a quiz or test during this time, you must have the appropriate assignments completed and corrected. If you are not prepared at this time, then you will come in after school to take the quiz/test when you are prepared. Ten points will be given to each team that has all members prepared to take the quiz/test on the given date.

If you do not receive a passing grade on any quiz/test, then you will be required to come in after school during tutoring times for remediation. You will then be required to retake the quiz/test. The first score is the grade that will be averaged with the team score.

How points are earned:

1. The average of team members weekly reviews.

2. The average of team members quiz and test scores.

3. Ten points for each team that has all team members ready for the quiz and test on the given dates.

4. Two points each day when all team members are focused and on task. A point will be lost each time a team member must be redirected by the Race Judge.

5. Five points for each challenge problem solved correctly.

Team members are encouraged to work together to ensure each team member is prepared to take the quiz/test. If a team member(s) completes assignments early, then they may choose to help other team members and/or work on challenge problems to earn extra points for their team.
