Fact Sheet for Group Season Pass Holders

1.) All applications must be turned in to the group organizer. Please do not fax or mail your application as they are not accepted on an individual basis.

2.) Please be sure that your Liability is attached and your application is legible.

3.) For Payment: If checks are written, they must be made payable to the organizer and one check must be cut to the Summit. Individual checks are not accepted. Only one check from the organizer.

4.) We would like to encourage using a debit/credit card for pass holders. It alleviates administrative issues for you and the organizer.

5.) Once applications are received, you can expect approximately a two week turn around for passes to be processed. They will be sent to each individual.

6.). As a member, if your picture is not on file, you may either email or send it in along with your application, along with making a phone call clarifying that you will be picking it up at The Summit or would like it mailed to you.

7.).Ifyour picture is on file, liability is attached and there are no issues with payment, it will automatically be sent to that individual.

How about my season pass photo?

If you are a previous pass holder, we can re-use the same photo and your pass will be mailed to you.

If you are a new pass holder, or if you want a new photo on your season pass, here are your options:
a. You may email your photo to:

Please use following guidelines: Photo must be in a jpeg format under 40K.
Your nose should be in the center of the picture. No hats or sunglasses. Please include name and birth date in email.
b. Mail us your photo! (Please note: photos will not be returned.)
Please include pass holder’s name and birth date on back of photo. Photo
should be at least 1 inch by 2 inches (school photos work great)! Send

c.Visit us at the season pass office at Summit West! Open daily starting
October 16th from 9AM until 4PM. We will take your picture and hand you
your pass on the spot.

Let someonewatch your gear while youhang out in thelodge!

Simply present your SkiCheckSeasonPass to the attendant and you can store your skis, snowboard, and/or bag under a watchful eye while you grab a bite to eat. Valid for unlimited use by the pass holder during operating hours. Kids under age 6 are free! The cost is $32 for the whole season.

Just Charge It!

Link your pass to a credit card with our auto charge system and you’ll be able to use it to charge food and beverage, retail items and just about anything. This is also great for kids so you don’t have to worry about giving them cash to take up to the mountain. Simply check the auto charge box on your application and indicate which card you’d like.

2. I Renewed my pass from last year. Do I use the same of this season?

No. Each year you will be issued a new season pass if you chose to renew. All 07-08 passes will be printed and mailed in October. Feel free to keep former season passes for posterity, but make sure to bring your current one when you want to hit the slopes! See below for picture guidelines.

3. How do I get my picture taken? Can I keep mine from last year?

Beginning in October we will start printing and mailing passes provided we have a picture on file for the passholder. For returning pass holders, we are automatically using previous season pass photos for this year's BIG S Passes. If you would like a new picture, or your appearance has greatly changed, please follow the directions below. Parents - your kids are growing - please help us keep their pictures current by getting new pictures taken as soon as possible after ordering their pass. For the first time BIG S Pass holders, please be aware we will need a pass photo before your pass can be delivered. Photos can be emailed, mailed, or taken at the Summit West Season Pass Office, which is open Monday through Sunday from 9am-5pm beginning October 22.

4. When will I get my pass?

We will begin mailing printed passes at the end of October, assuming that we have your picture, payment and a signed liability release form. Please make sure your contact information is correct at the time of purchase.

5. Do you charge sales tax?

WashingtonState sales tax of 8.5% will be applied to all sales.

6. What’s so great about being a passholder anyway?

For one thing...you get to go straight to the lifts on powder days! Who wants to wait in a ticket line when Mother Nature delivers fresh stuff?

Also, make sure you check out the Big S Club for all kinds of special deals and discounts with area businesses exclusively for BIG S pass holders. We've always thought you were special...now others do too!

7. What benefits does my unlimited pass have?

In addition to the benefits to all pass holders (see #6), Unlimited pass holders get discounted lift tickets for our tubing center (only $5!), and unlimited use of The Summit Nordic and Snowshoe Center Trail System.

8. What benefits does my L-T-DPass have?

In addition to the benefits to all pass holders (see #6) L-T-D pass holders get a $10 Weekend Alpental lift ticket discount! Although the BIG S L-T-D does not include Alpental skiing and riding access on weekends, you will get $10 off weekend Alpental tickets. Just present your pass at any Alpental ticketing location to receive your discount. No blackout dates! Limit ONE per day - Ticket for pass holder ONLY! But we aren't stopping there. L-T-D pass holders also enjoy discounted lift tickets for our tubing center (only $5!), and unlimited use of The Summit Nordic and Snowshoe Center Trail System.

9. What benefits does my night pass have?

In addition to the benefits to all pass holders (see #6) NIGHT pass holders get discounted ($5) tickets for our tubing center for the 6pm-9pm session on Fridays and Saturdays.

10. Can I get my money back if I change my mind?

NO. Season passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. If, however, you have an extraordinary hardship we will be happy to take your request into consideration. Please keep in mind that a $25 processing fee may apply. We encourage guests with circumstances that prevent them from using their pass to consider rolling it over to the next season. In order to process your rollover/refund request, we will need to receive the following: a letter requesting your rollover/refund (emails will not be accepted), a note from your physician, and your BIG S Pass (if it has been printed).
