STUDENT CAR PARK RULES (2014/15)
1.The issue of a permit and swipe card allows entry to the Students Car Park. It does not guarantee a parking space (spaces are filled on a ‘first come first served’ basis).
2.Cars must display clearly the valid permit issued for the vehicle and you must not lend your permit or swipe card to anyone else to allow them to gain access to the Car Park.
3.Parking is restricted to marked bays only. No parking is permitted elsewhere (e.g. middle area of car park).
4.No student cars to be parked in Staff or Visitors Car Parks unless authorised todo so.
5.To remain on site after 4.30 pm special arrangements in advance must be made with the Receptionist to inform a member of the Estates team. Once the gates are locked, cars will have to remain on site until the following day.
6.The 10 mph speed limit must be observed at all times, especially on entering and leaving. There are NO exceptions.
7.Students must observe a safe speed and drive with due care and attention in the approach roads to the Car Park. This is a residential area with local residents and you enter/exit the College at a blind corner.
- Students are NOT to remain in their cars during College hours; this applies equally to non-timetabled time, break and lunchtimes.
- The sounding of horns, radios and music must not be played in the car park - or on entry/exit. Noise levels should be kept to a minimum as the car park backs onto a residential area.
10.Students must show a prompt and constructive response to all reasonable requests made by Estates or Security staff. Any element of abuse or inappropriate response to a member of staff will be treated very seriously and permits and swipe cards will be removed.

I have read and understood the rules of the Car Park. I understand that if I break any of them my permit and swipe card may be withdrawn (without a refund) and I will be subject to the College’s disciplinary procedures.
