FROMTHECOMMENTS BY THE INTERNATIONAL EXPERT TEAM:
This is a modern and successful programme which achieves its main purpose, which is to produce graduates whohaveahigh levelofcommunication ability in English and Russian.
The degree programme is designed to produce graduates who have broad specialist knowledge of both English and Russian, and whose competence in these two languages is embedded in a wider cultural context.
Although the programme has only been run at the Institute for a relatively short time, the students have gained considerable experience in scientific research: they actively assist in organizing international conferences, participate in international projects and conferences.
A very positive aspect of the programme is that in order to maintain the high standards of the programme, every year the students have an opportunity to be taught by visiting professors from abroad who come through various exchange programmes, while the local academic staff of the programme in their turn participates in various teacher exchange programmes.
The impression of the International Expert Team was that the study programme can be characterised by an informal and enthusiastic atmosphere, which certainly reflects and enhances cooperation among all the parties.
