Summary
The Centralized Warranty Administrator is responsible for preparing warranty claims, submitting warranty claims for all Original Engine Manufacture’s (OEM’s), running reports, communicating with branches on process improvements, tracking warranty reimbursements, maximizing warranty returns from OEM’s, enforcing OEM’s warranty policies, and other general service department duties as direct by the General Service Manager
Essential Functions
· Administrative – Maintain communication with assigned branches in order to complete warranty claims in a timely manner. Field calls daily assisting other employees with the warranty process. Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness. Review warranty segments for accuracy. Work with Service Managers to assure all applicable job codes are listed. Update warranty log and claim reimbursements to maximize returns. Close warranty segments and post claim information to warranty log. Check for approved, returned and rejected claims daily. Track warranty reimbursements. Enforce OEM’s warranty policies. Build and maintain working relationships with OEM product support personnel. Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area appearance.

· Assist with other duties assigned and directed by corporate management within the frame work of Murphy Tractor and Equipment Company, Inc.’s objectives.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
· Strong focus on customer service.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet.
· Strong knowledge of Warranty Administration.
· Basic knowledge of office machines, including copier, fax and printer.
· Advanced knowledge of construction equipment.
· Basic knowledge of machine repair and diagnostic procedures.

Physical Requirements and Work Schedule
Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Able to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Able to travel for training and branch visits as needed.
Education/Work Experience
High school diploma or GED required. At least one year related experience and/or training preferred.
