Nazareth College of Rochester is committed to maintaining a drug-free environment. In accordance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, the College prohibits the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession or use of a controlled substance (drugs) in and on Nazareth College of Rochester owned or controlled property. To reaffirm this commitment and to comply with the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Amendments of 1989, the College is providing you with important notices at the following website:

The Unlawful Possession, Use or Distribution of Illicit Drugs or Alcohol is Prohibited. Such activities violate the College's standards of conduct and the violation is subject to disciplinary action.

Severe Sanctions: Violators risk disciplinary actions up to and including expulsion or termination from NazarethCollege and referral for prosecution by Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies.

Federal, State and Local Laws Make Illegal Use of Alcohol and Drugs Serious Crimes. Conviction can lead to fines, imprisonment, assigned community services and permanent criminal records.

Drug and Alcohol Counseling, Treatment and Rehabilitation Programs. If you think you have a substance or alcohol abuse problem, you may contact Antoinette Gauthier, Substance Abuse Educational Specialist and Associate Director of Counseling Services (ext. 2887) or Counseling Services (ext. 2887) at NazarethCollege.
