GCPA FUNDS DISTRIBUTION GUIDELINES

The GCPA/GCPA Foundation Funds Distribution Committee shall consider all funds distribution applications with the following exceptions:

  • Funding requests from politicalorganizations will not be considered.
  • Funding requests to pay salaries will not be considered.
  • Incomplete applications – including not sending requested number of copies

Funding requests must support the GCPA/GCPA Foundation Mission and Goals (see below). Each funding request will be evaluated based on the degree to which it aligns with our mission.

The GCPA/GCPA Foundation Funds Distribution Committee will present the results of its evaluation, including its funding recommendations, to the GCPA general membership. The GCPA general membership shall vote to approve/disapprove the recommendations of the Committee. Applicants will be notified in writing of decision.

The GCPA/GCPA Foundation Funds Distribution Committee is not obligated to recommend distribution of any fundsrequest. Available funds vary each operating year.

Mission

The Glendale Civic Pride Ambassadors is an organization of citizens with a deep sense of pride in their community. They are dedicated to enhancing the economic, social, and cultural vitality of Glendale, Arizona.

Goals

a.)To help others better understand and appreciate the excellent quality of life in Glendale by drawing attention to Glendale’s unique qualities, customs, standards, and traditions.

b.)To elevate regional awareness and appreciation of Glendale by providing positive information about the community to people throughout MaricopaCounty and beyond.

c.)To demonstrate pride and loyalty to Glendale by creating and participating in activities, programs, and projects for residents and visitors alike, by volunteering enthusiastically to share civic pride, knowledge, and spirit in a variety of public activities, and by preserving and revering the rich heritage of the community through embracing its glorious past and planning for its even more promising future.
