Meet Kayla Fisk. Kayla graduated from Kennady High School in Greenbourne, Colorado, and her great desire was to be a plumber. Even though this job is traditionally seen as a “male” profession, Kayla didn’t let this deter her! After taking vocational courses for several months at a nearby school, Kayla got an apprenticeship, which gave her on the job training. Finally, Kayla took the Journeyman Plumber’s exam and passed. Kayla is now a bonified plumber, making $50,000 a year! We’re so proud of you, Kayla!
