Hans Zeiger

Elected Experience: Hans Zeiger is our State Representative, serving on the House Committees on Transportation, Higher Education, Early Learning and Human Services, and Technology and Economic Development.
Other Professional Experience: Hans is an author and he serves in the Washington Air National Guard.
Education: Puyallup High School; BA, Hillsdale College; Master’s in Public Policy, Pepperdine University
Community Service: Hans serves on the boards of the Daffodil Festival, the Boy Scouts Pacific Harbors Council, and the One Another Foundation. He was a columnist for the Puyallup Herald, and he is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Puyallup. He is an Eagle Scout.
Statement: Representative Hans Zeiger is working to build up our communities, not our bureaucracies. The Zeigers have been leaders in our community for four generations. As the son, grandson and great-grandson of Puyallup teachers, Hans knows the value of education, work and public service. Olympia needs Zeiger Family values.
Hans has a proven record of working with people in both parties to reform government, set priorities, and get people back to work. He understands that congestion relief on Highway 167 and Meridian is essential to our local economy. Hans knows that government doesn’t create jobs, people create jobs.

Community Service: Volunteer host for Freezing Nights homeless shelter guests, participant in Community Clean-Up, mentor for students, Trained First Responder, 18 gallon blood donor, Block Watch Committee member, community event volunteer, trail maintenance volunteer, active in community services, education and music in my church, developed Comprehensive Rural Human Resource Center, developed Rural Recycling Center
Statement: Eric believes it is wrong that small businesses and families carry the burden of taxes while some corporations can rig the system by using their political power and money to create tax loopholes. Eric is not beholden to those who wish to destroy democracy by buying the system. Elect a leader that will stand up to greed. Eric will collaborate to close tax loopholes and build investments in our schools and communities. He will pursue healthcare and economic opportunity for all.
