PRODUCT DESCRIPTION / Soudal PVC Gap Filler is a flexible sealant and gap filler designed for the sealing of PVC and the repair to damaged PVC coatings and PVC coated metals.CHARACTERISTICS / Easy to apply and tool
Remains flexible for movement accomodation
Good slump resistance
Low vapour permeability
Based on organic extenders
Excellent water resistance
Very good adhesion
Withstands UV and all weather conditions
Can be sanded, sawn, filed etc. after full cure
Does not smell after full cure
APPLICATION MATERIALS / PVC and PVC coated metals
APPLICATION EXAMPLES /
- Sealing and repairing of PVC to itself and to porous substrates
- Sealing and repairing of PVC coatings.
- Gap filler between adjacent sheets of PVC and PVC coated metals in cold storage units
- Use on PVC in guttering, roofing, prefabricated building

SHELF LIFE / 6 months in unopened packaging in a cool, dry storage place

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE / Surface preparation : Surfaces should be clean, dray and free of dust and grease.
Application method : Manual or pneumatic caulking gun
Application temperature : + 1°C until +30°C
Tooling : Smooth with soapy solution before skin formation
Clean with : White Spirit immediately after use
Repair with : Soudal PVC Gap Filler

SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS / Apply the usual industrial hygiene.
Do not breathe the vapour
Do not expose to naked flame or other source of high temperature
Use a good barrier cream and avoid prolonged contact with skin.
REMARKS /
- Paste which has “gelled” due to inadvertent storage at low temperature may be restored by immersing the cartridge in warm water – allow to cool before use
- The dry paste may be sanded, filed, sawn, etc like rigid PVC.
