FLS Insurance Club was established in 1964 originally with the aim of providing FLSmidth employees with a good and low cost private car insurances. In addition to the car insurances you can now also take advantage ofacquiring other types of private insurances such as family home insurance, building insurance, cottage insurance, personal accident insurance, dog insurance, bike and motor cycle insurances, travel insurance, a. o. If you acquire several policies afull customer discount is granted on the premiums.

The club is operated in close co-operation with the Danish insurance company GF Forsikring a/s.The FLS Insurance Club was among its founders in 1967.

When applying for a car insurance you will have to sign up as a member of our club. Memberships are only open for employees in permanent employment and employees retired from FLSmidth or associated companies. A Danish personal number (CPR No.) is required.

When signing up you pay a membership fee of 100 DKK for each car policy for which the club buy a non profit share in GF Forsikring a/s. Further, a yearly small club fee has to be paid in addition to the insurance premium.

Our club has our own executive committee as well as our own damage accounting. Profitfrom this account is paid back to the policyholder in the form a deduction in the following year’s car premium.This principle is introduced from 2017 - as well as a general deduction of the premiumoriginating from the profiton all other insurances.
